About Nomad Budgeter
Hey, I'm the creator of Nomad Budgeter. Like many of you, when I first started looking into the digital nomad lifestyle, I was overwhelmed.
I spent hours hacking together messy spreadsheets, trying to compare the cost of living in Lisbon with the tax rates in Dubai, while trying to figure out if Spain's Beckham Law actually applied to my situation.
The information out there was fragmented, often outdated, and rarely gave me the full picture of what my actual take-home pay would be. The tax calculators were built for accountants, and the cost-of-living sites didn't factor in taxes.
Why I Built This
I built Nomad Budgeter to solve my own problem. I wanted a single place where I could punch in my income, pick a city, and instantly see my net pay, my burn rate, and my savings potential.
Our mission is simple: Help remote workers make data-driven decisions about where to live. We want to demystify international taxes and make the nomad lifestyle accessible to everyone.
The Data
We pull live 2026 tax brackets, combine them with up-to-date cost of living data, and present it all in a way that actually makes sense. No more spreadsheets. Just clear, actionable insights.
